My 2K18

On your blog, post a description of life in New Zealand in 2018. Please remember that the people who read your post will have never been to New Zealand or even seen a picture so it is your job to ‘paint a picture’ of New Zealand using your words. You can also post pictures, if you wish.
This was soooooooo easy. I have used a free online app called ANIMOTO it was so fun.
I hope you enjoy

  1. Hi Jahnel,

I really enjoyed your slideshow, it looks like you have had a pretty awesome year! Part of the activity was to describe New Zealand for someone that has never been. In order to get full points for this activity, you need to post a description of life in New Zealand in your own words. Comment below once you have done this and I'll check it out :-)

    Talk to you soon,
    Georgia.

  2. Hello Jahnel,
Zephaniah here, I loved watching your video. I really enjoyed it. Memerable times right? This video really made my cry. I am going to miss those who were at Tautoro school last year. You guys have been a part of my life so badly. This video showed why you loved being in NZ, and I loved that. Anyways, keep up the great work!

    Nga mihi,
    -Zephaniah

Nice to meet you. I hope you are enjoying your summer holidays! We are into our third week with the Summer Learning Journey and it has been so much fun. There has been so many exciting, fascinating and fun blog posts that students have shared and are continuing to create.
The last day of this programme is the 25th of January so there is still plenty of time to get those blog posts in! Remember, you could be winning an iPad and other prizes for your effort in your blog posts, how cool would that be?

You can find all the activities here on our website: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities
You can complete as many of the activities as you like, and in any order. Each activity is worth points, and remember, you can also earn points 2 points for each quality comment that you post on the blogs of other Summer Learning Journey participants. It’s that easy!

Let me know if you need any help at all, that’s what we’re here for :)
I am looking forward to hearing all the beautiful, knowledgeable and diverse ideas that you have to offer and I am also looking forward to learning from you!

    Blog you later!

  4. Kia ora Jahnel!

Congratulations on participating with the Summer Learning Journey! You have been such an essential part of the programme and we are so proud of everything that you have accomplished.

I really loved and appreciated the activity ‘Salt & Pepper’, this was the activity where you created your own hotel! You went through the effort of adding flowers to the bedside tables and paintings! You even added 2x TV’s!

Well I hope you have the best year filled with happiness & joy! Don’t forget to keep on blogging throughout the year to continue your blogging skills! We can’t wait till next summer when we have you back on board.

    See you next summer!
