This week we have been learning how to structure and write an introduction for an explanation writing. This is my google slide presentation with my practise introductions to help me write an actual introduction for my own explanation writing.

Genius Hour Pitch

Today the years went to room 5 so that we could do some blogging.
While we were in there we were told that we could do genius hour,
we had 15 minutes to get our ideas ready and sorted, when we were
finished we had to share with the room 5 and year 8 students in the
classroom so that we could each other feedback on their ideas.

Blog Post Analysis - Statistical

Learning Intention:
To use data to look closely at (analyse) our own blog post totals over time. To be able to use vocab around statistical investigations. To be able to gather, sort and analyse data.
As part of our cyber smart learning with Whaea Tania and Whaea Cassandra, we were collating our blog post data. I have worked on digital devices for 4 years, 2 at Glenavon School and 2 at Tautoro School but I haven't got many posts on my blog because I wasn't focused on my work in class and I was left behind. This year I have got 28 posts on my blog.

Kohewhata Marae Layout

This is how the Kohewhata marae will look like, tomorrow we will be welcomed in to the Kohewhata marae we will be staying over for 2 days and 1 night. We will be doing a few activities to do with Matariki. It takes 6 mins to drive in a car from Tautoro school to Kohewhata marae which is 6.9 km away but to walk it take 1 hr and 29 mins to get there.
